Noble Carrara and good coffee. That’s NoD

NoD is a newly refurbished café with a pleasant atmosphere in the center of Prague overlooking Dlouhá Street. It is also an integral part of the multi-genre project of the same name, experimental space. Besides delicious coffee and great desserts, you can also enjoy the pleasant environment and impressive timeless features that are part of the recently renovated interior. The task of architects Martin Gaberle and Mark Fischer of CollColl Studio was to renovate the interior of the café in order to support its day-to-day operations and the increased interest of guests. On the bar top they used TechniStone’s Noble Carrara quartz. The project is very successful, we appreciate its quality and design.

With their proposal, the architects tried to enhance the impressive atmosphere of the hall of the early 20th century. That is why they retained the central bar with the Levite statue of the Golden Bone statue by Jiří David and the elevated sitting stage, which are typical for this interior. On the decorative cornice, which is at the head of the hall, a new ledge was created, which now bordered the entire café. Other notable works of art include Bugs Bunny’s Suffering from Adam Stank and Helena Sequens.

The striking bar with white mosaic from the Italian company Mutina contributes to the exceptionally pleasant atmosphere. Noble Carrara quartz from Technistone was used on the countertop and wall cladding. Traditional elements inherently include the typical TON coffee and bar chairs. The smoky oak parquet, along with brass elements (such as the design lights of the British brand, Tom Dixon), refer to the historical period when the café was built.
